Conflict

There are many ways to handle situations that make you angry.  You can react or respond.  Reacting is usually destructive.  We either fight or retreat into a shell only to let things fester.  A better way is to think and respond.  Stop and decided do I need address this now?  How important is this issue?  Sometimes it's better to wait but don't avoid - either within yourself or with the one that you have conflict.  Waiting will help you respond instead of react.

Third, are you clear to others? Use words other people understand and communication automatically become easier. You assume people understand you, even if you speak the same language and that is rarely the case. When you say, "that person didn't hear me" you really mean, "that person didn't understand me." It's not always their fault - make sure you are using words others understand and more importantly - can relate to...

When you think about the words you use and choose carefully - wonderful things happen. Consider the words you use for yourself. Do you use words that convey positive energy, confidence and success? Try for today to only use positive words and at the end of the day see how you feel. Check your outlook.

Avoid or confront

It's OK to do either as long as it is for healthy reasons and they are done with a lot of thought as to the consequenses.  Sometimes we avoid to keep from hurting others or ourselves.  Sometimes we do it to be deceptive.  When we confront we should do it from a respectful point of view and with the idea of helping others.
