Third, are you clear to others? Use words other people understand and communication automatically become easier. You assume people understand you, even if you speak the same language and that is rarely the case. When you say, "that person didn't hear me" you really mean, "that person didn't understand me." It's not always their fault - make sure you are using words others understand and more importantly - can relate to...

When you think about the words you use and choose carefully - wonderful things happen. Consider the words you use for yourself. Do you use words that convey positive energy, confidence and success? Try for today to only use positive words and at the end of the day see how you feel. Check your outlook.

Be at peace with anger

It's ok to be angry - it's what you do with the anger that matters. Anger helps us. With it we can set boundaries and define our values. Acting out in passive aggressive behavior does nothing to honor this. Be direct and honest about what makes you angry and target the value not the "thing." Use it to recognize that something is not OK. However, if you gossip, communicate with sarcasm or turn off listening, you will gain nothing. Take a moment to be at peace with what makes you angry and learn from it.

Be Direct

When communicating, don't assume people know what you want. You must tell them! Oblique may seem nice or less aggressive but what it you are really doing is passive aggressive. Trying being direct. It doesn't mean be a jerk, it just means be clear. People will thank you for it.
