Real Love Builds Futures

Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other
but in looking outward together in the same direction.
~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Wind, Sand and Stars, 1939,
translated from French by Lewis Galantière

When you speak of the people you care about do you speak of the journey you are taking together?  Think of the journey of relationships like cars on the road.   Get too fixated on the interior beauty instead of the road and you will, either, never go anywhere or you will surely crash.   The purpose of the car is not the design, it is to help you on your journey.   Interiors will fade and paint will chip but take care of the car and keep it moving and it will run for a long long time.  Relationships are the same.  You might get a little grey and add a few wrinkles but if you work together on your journey, your relationship will last a long long time.

AFFIRMATION - say: "I will work with my love ones to build a future,
for there lies the fulfillment."

Lean

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.” - Bob Moawad

It's super important to get support from others and get help - but, be very careful to not lean too hard. They might not be able to hold you up or they may not know that are supposed to hold you up. This could lead to a hard and unpleasant fall. When you ask for help be sure to also figure out a way to do it yourself later. Let them teach you to be stronger!

Affirmation – say: “ I will ask for help and then learn to do it on my own.”

Journey

We’ve become so impatient lately. The economy is making everyone stressed out and anxious – so much so that we are forgetting the journey of life.

You’re urgency can be a wonderful asset – it’ll keep you from wasting time. However, if you are not enjoying the process you need to be spending your time elsewhere. Do the things that make you whole and serve your life purpose.

Affirmation – say: I will relish the moments even when I’m in a hurry.
